Studying with Beth Moore does this to me… I cry… I think… I ponder… I learn… I change. I can’t describe accurately the feeling I get when I begin a new study with Beth…
If you’d have told me years ago that I would ever be this excited about studying the Bible, I would have completely not understood! My heart was racing and I was so thrilled to open the latest study of hers this week… Esther
Here is a link to the promo…
Did you catch this comment in the promo?
“Can anybody use a Bible study for when no obvious miracle comes. Does that mean you have no God, and God is not with you? Or maybe is there some really good theology in, I can’t find Him, but I know He’s there.”
This is the Bible Study for me in this time…and you are so lucky, because when I am excited about something, I want to shout it from the mountain tops! That’s just how I am! So, if you are in this study or want to be in this study, I hope you come along with me and tell me how it is touching you!! You know you’ll be hearing from me!
… so here we go… it’s always a ride… Finding our destiny…

I am just as excited to do this study as you are, Pam! Beth's comments may reach us differently... isn't it amazing how each one can recieve such a blessing from her ministry?! I may not be waiting for an obvious miracle, but hearing her talk about not always feeling God there-- that struck a chord. Plus the 'beauty' issues- yikes! We have a lot to learn, don't we?
I am so glad you are excited and have found a little something to look forward to in the midst of your tough times.
Pam,
I just finished week 6 and we had discussion tonight! This study is incredible. I am not going to give things away, but let me tell ya...you will be writing in the margins like crazy during the videos!
We have our own timing of when we things should get done. It's not about our timing, God is always right on time. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you go through the study. You know I'll be piping in with my two cents.

i love beth moore studies! amazing! ok, i need to look into it since i'm limited on time, but i want to say yes. i'm in the middle of rob bell's new book too! grrrr...
I'll be interested to hear your thoughts.
I attended the first 6 weeks and then quit. Totally NOT my type of study.
Some of my concerns were with our facilitator, and some with our discussion group (or, lack of discussion). So, I'll be interested to hear how it goes for you.

I can't wait to read your thoughts.
Pam,
I found your blog through the Riggs Family. I have an adopted little girl from Guatmeala. I am the mom to 6 kids as well. I am in a very very very very difficult marriage. I live in IN and you do to. Would you be kind enough to email me . I would really like to ask your advice on my situation. I have been reading your blog for quite some time and have put the pieces together to realize that you live in IN. Here is my email address. Thank you Janie

I've heard amazing things about this study!
I plan to do this study. I should've gotten in gear and done it along with you so we could discuss. I guess I was thinking I would've had my I Do Again books and I'd get started on those first. THey've not come yet though. Oh what to do, what to do.
Maybe we can still discuss through email once I begin. I'm not doing any video or CDs just the study book. I might listen to the CDs a friend has...one hour at the end of each week.
I've only been a part of one Beth Moore study and that was right before I moved. I haven't been able to find her here at all, but I know there are resources I can buy and do them at home. It's always a plus to have the fellowship of other women going through it with you though.
Be blessed by your new study!
