YOUR Gonna Miss This…Moment… 75

We knew that our cat had kittens.

We just couldn’t find them.

The kids had looked and looked.

Nope.

Nothing.

Until one morning this week…

There they were.

She brought them into the garage.

Joy.

 

There is something about kids & kittens & spring.

LOVE IT!

(but not so much the “in the garage” thing)

Lucas has the biggest heart for them and finds them & cares for them.

More Spring Fun...

We are enjoying the beautiful spring days...

Jumping on the trampoline!! James organized a group of guys to come over and move the wood piles into the barn last weekend! That was a blessing!! So, now the tramp can come out of the barn and the fun is begun!! They can't wait to move it over to the tree so they can climb and jump out of the tree... uh-huh...

The tree house is getting used again...

And they are wearing out this baby puppy...

He is doing better at being potty trained than Kiahna is at the moment... at least i can put diapers back on Kiahna though...

Is that legal to post??

James did excellent in the track meet on Tuesday night. Placing first for the first time in the 110 hurdles... this is a picture that you can tell he is winning... if it isn't too small...

Spring in Indiana

Of course it is Spring... it is 70 today and should be 40 and snowing by the end of the week... welcome to spring in Indiana! The grass has gotten so green since we got home from Florida... not too many buds visible on the trees yet, but they are slowing coming...

Maybe this year, Jadon and Kiahna won't pick all my tulips for me when they come up? Maybe?? One can dream, right???

The baseball equipment all came out today... and litters the yard... along with the tricycles...

Why should outside clean up be any better than inside clean up??!!

Thought some of you city girls might enjoy this! See Jadon waving? They are training the horses to pull buggies. Once, last year the buggy went by with a horse tied to the back, and all of the sudden the horse came back running all alone! EEK!

What happens to pumpkins over the winter. Nice huh. Time to work outside. I did pick up some sticks tonight! It was so nice out! And we are protected from the wind!

Notice how she is holding the bat! She actually tried hitting that way too!

That is better, and it is a much lighter bat!

Jadon is ready to play now! Next year he will be old enough... He can't wait!

Could Spring Be Here???

Looks like Spring may have come to Indiana... at least for the day. It was sunny, and a warm 56 degrees today... Our house is blocked by the wind so we had it very nice!

How quickly though the realization of the DIRT involved in Spring...

Why do children do this? Does it intice you to go outside in your socks?? Puzzling isn't it? At what point in life to we decide this isn't such a good idea? Maybe after we have to start doing the laundry? This will be an issue with us all summer... oh well...

My First Blog Entry!! How exciting!! Spring is in the air here!! And I am trying to learn how this thing works... these pictures are not in the order I had planned!! Oh well!! I will learn! And the ones I put at the end have now dissappeared so I guess I have to put them in the beginning! URG!! This is taking so long and is frustrating me...

Leah and Kiahna made lots of cup cakes today for her to take to their 5th grade booth at the carnival tomorrow night at school. They are doing a cake walk!

Lucas in the snow...barefoot... riding his bike... at least he isn't wearing his socks!

Jadon will hopfully learn to move his bike before someone runs over it... I just know this is going to be bad...

Jadon tried planting his palm leaf he got at preschool... He got to be Jesus and ride on the donkey's back!

More of Jadon enjoying the mud... I didn't get one of him stuck ankle deep in the mud on the side of the house... this was afterwards when he was having fun cleaning up!

Remembering how to ride his bike! Not so easy with big ole boots on!

And the best part of spring... getting the grill running again... it still had a twinge of oil smell to the fire though... kind of ruined the effect!

Know what this is? This is the mud that Jadon threw at my front door.

Today was the first day that we could actually think of being outside for awhile... and it has been such a long cold winter, why wouldn't we love to do that? How quickly I am reminded of the "fun" of spring time and the "joys" of children playing out doors...

And while I've typed this, Jadon and Kiahna have gotten into the cupcakes, spilled some anti freeze in the garage, and everyone who was supposed to be cleaning up the kitchen has conviently dissappeared! Better get!
