Menu Plan Monday #7

mpmfall

Looking at a little slower week this week… the last week of Zach’s football games.   So after Monday night, no more car pooling him… for a whole week… then basketball starts…  James games now start going on a week by week basis… if we win, we keep playing… but winning seems to be eluding us this season… so this could be the last couple weeks of that too…

Here’s the plan for the meals… so glad to get them on here!  What a help!

Monday:  Beef Stroganoff (crock pot), noodles, salad

Tuesday:  Hearty Beef and Potatoes, Pineapple

Wednesday:  So You Forgot to Defrost, rice peas, muffins

Thursday:  Farm House BBQ Muffins, French Fries, Salad

Friday:  Pizza Casserole, Green Beans

*************************************

Farm House BBQ Muffins

1 Tube Refrigerator Buttermilk Biscuits

1/2 Cup ketchup

3 TBSP Brown Sugar

1 TBSP Vinegar

1/2 tsp. Chili Powder

1 lb.  Hamburger, fried & Drained

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Press dough into greased muffin cups.  Brown hamburger and drain, mix all ingredients together until smooth.  Put 1/4 cup of mixture into each cup.  Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.  375 degrees, bake 18-20 minutes.  Let cool in pan for 5 minutes.

You inspire me to plan a weekly menu. I am having a beef stroganoff type meal tonight too

Here's one for you...I am having homemade pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches tonight. Boil boneless chicken breasts until tender enough that they fall apart when you try to pull them out of the pot (I did one boneless brest per person). Shred chicken and put all in crock pot with either bottled or homemade BBQ sauce. Let simmer for several hours (this can be a short time or all day depending on how quick you need it...all food is already cooked, you're basically just keeping it hot). Serve on toasted buns and with fried potatoes or just chips and a vegetable if desired. Yum! I don't know, Pam, I think I am leaning towards doing a weekly menu now! I have copied and printed every recipe you put on here and am attempting to try them all!

I love this. I really need to get my act together and do this. My kids are so picky. I have a Zach too by the way...

OK, I don't think I can keep coming over here to your blog and seeing how organized you are!!!
I don't even know what's for lunch TODAY and it's 2PM!! Dinner had not crossed my mind until I just read your post! AGH! Jarrod forgot something I had to run over to the school, Zoe pulled her dirty diaper off in her crib and I won't go into the mess that was.....the guys came to clean the livingroom carpet and i have to get to my dr appt!! When I win the lottery, I am going to hire someone to keep my frig and cabinets filled with cooked heathly meals and snacks!! Ahhh, to dream :)

Tammie, thanks for the recipe! I'll have to try that! Hey, do they still sell ribs cheap over there? Have you made them again since you've been there again??

Tonia, geeshh... if you only knew... done the diaper thing when they destroy them and you feel like duct taping their diaper to their skin! AND this blog is the ONLY thing that has helped me stay consistent in menu planning! NOTHING LIKE A LITTLE ONLINE ACCOUNTABLITY!! if you saw my house, you'd feel better... want me to send you pictures!! LOL!!
