I have two plants in my house that are real. One is dying. I don’t know what to do or what is wrong. I added water, which normally helps quickly if it looks this way, but it got worse instead of better. Could the pot be to small??? HELP! I really don’t want this plant to die! It was a gift from a very good friend!

Sunlight? Too much or too little water? Pot provide enough drainage? I talked to Jim and he wondered if it had scales (is it sticky underneath?). Anyway I can not keep a plant alive so call Jim's if you need more help. They said clay pots work the best. Good luck.
It is in the same spot it has been for 2 years. In the same pot it has been in for a year. It did have too much water on it and I drained it off, but tonight it is even flatter than this picture. It was already looking droopy so that is why I watered it so much. It is in a clay pot too! HUH! I'll call Jim if it doesn't improve I guess! Thanks for the tip Jamie!
