YOUR Gonna Miss This… Moment… Week 48

YGMT...moment 2

What a full week of moments to treasure!  Wouldn’t you agree?  I am so sure you have more than one thing you would like to remember about this past week that you would love to share & link up here with me!  I would be blessed if you would (and so would you!!)

Being the first week of school… I will for sure miss that excitement in the coming days, weeks, months as the year continues on (I won’t say drags because I KNOW from my position nothing about this year is going to drag!)

I’ll miss field trips with Lucas after elementary is over…

This week, Lucas teacher asked on Thursday if I could chaperone for a field trip on Friday.  He even said that I could bring Kiahna along… Ended up that I did bring her along… It was so sweet to see Lucas & his classmates enjoying having her around…a girl in Lucas’ class holding Kiahna up to pet a beaver skin…

& I not really knowing what the future will hold… I’d really miss it if I couldn’t be a mom that volunteered to go along on the field trips, in the class room, & was there for my school age kids when they needed me.

I’ll miss when Kiahna isn’t scared of loud noises… and stops walking around like this forever after hearing one…

Only to hear the loud noise again as soon as she lets her ears go…

(a guy showing the kids how a muzzle loader works)  it was loud!

And as promised… your weekly football-missing-moment…

Blackford Game 2009 006

I didn’t get a great amount of shots of this weeks game.  It was a little wet.  It started raining right after we got out of our van. & rained again until we got over to the visiting team bleachers.  So the bleachers were wet. My hands were full. I dropped my camera bag & shattered the protective lens. (scared me but the camera was fine, so glad I learned about protective lenses)  The last quarter was full of hard rain too.

I may even miss that one day!

I hope I don’t have to miss seeing this on our end of the field any time soon!

Blackford Game 2009 002

4 touchdowns last night for our team & none for the other, left the score 28-0!  I hope winning is not something I will miss soon either! :)

Time flies... and we really can't slow it down. So the best thing to do is hop on and ride like the wind, instead of standing on the ground and watching it pass you by! You have mastered the art of flying...

Those were great moments. I too love being able to go on field trips and help out at the kids school when needed.
Great pictures. So glad your camera was fine. What kind do you shoot with again?

It's always fun to have someone else's sibling around!!

I love your sons expressions when he's looking at the camera. It looks like my kids when they're saying, "Are you done taking pictures now?"

Woops it was Zach lastnight I thought it was James playing and I twitterd go james go..lol.

Great post, I love being able to be there for my kids as well. Sometimes I want a job just to feel human but realize the job I have is shaping me into what God wants me to be.

All great things to enjoy and miss someday. Love your football shots...I wish I had time to play around with them. How do you do that part color/part black and white? Very cool!
