YOUR Gonna Miss This…Moment. Week 48

This week’s moment is simple.

I’ll miss having a child under 5…

As of tomorrow there will be no more 4 year olds in this house.

So, I took my 4 year old. On the last day she is 4 outside today…

…and treasured the last day of being 4…

 

I’ll miss your 4 year old year… it was a long hard one for both of us.. I am thankful for all the healing & progress… and look forward to year #5!!

Happy Birthday Tomorrow, Baby Girl… Mommy Loves you so much!

Vlogemo: Kids Week!

Many weeks are kids week for me on Vlogemotions!  It is so much simpler for me to put their cute faces on the screen than my own!!  But, this morning I took a shower, did my new hair cut hair (which I am not so sure i love) & was all ready.  I opened Tim @ Fort Thompson's Blog up & found he was hosting “kids week” again this week!  I always seem to be on the wrong page! :)  o well!  My only child home to be my victim subject was very cooperative, and gave a stellar performance for you all!  After all she will be turning 5 in just 2 short days, ya know!! 

So, here we have it… My 12th week of participating with Tim @ Fort Thompson and Vlogemotions…

4th post today… DAD IS 60!!

This is the last post I plan to do today… then I have to go fold laundry! :)

My dad is sweating right now… he is afraid I am going to post that picture I took of him at El Camino on Monday… (beg people, beg then he will have to let me!!)  LOL!!!

I want you all to promise me you will beg me to post that picture, roll through the 3 posts following this one too today!  They are packed full of pictures and not much reading!!  I just didn’t want to pile them all in one post!!  Baby steps, ya know!! 

My wonderful dad turned 60 on Monday!

Zach’s First Game of the Season…

Monday evening we traveled back to the same school we were at on Friday evening for Zach’s game.  This school didn’t have enough boys for a JV & Freshmen team (we do) so this game was a combo.

Got some AWESOME shots of Zach!!  He was in many different positions that night… so please don’t ask me what he plays… I know he was running back for awhile… :)

Kiahna’s first day of preschool

Monday was Kiahna’s first day of preschool! 

Kiahna is going to a special needs preschool, based on her behavior last year when I had her in a preschool program. 

First day went very well for her!  Teacher says she is seeing much improvement in her behavior!  Let’s hope it continues!! 

She is just going 2 days for now, and after September we meet again & hopefully she will go 4 afternoons a week.

My biggest stresser has been getting Jadon picked up from kindergarten & then getting to Kiahna’s preschool in less than 10 minutes.  I think I have found a solution though.  Jadon’s teacher said I could take him 5 minutes early.  That will give me 15 minutes to get from one school to the other.  Hope it works out better today!

Zach & Friends

Sunday evening Zach had some friends over.  He has been asking all summer!  After vacations, sports started… & this is an athletic group… so with football, tennis, volleyball, & cheerleading… we finally found an evening that most of them could come over and hang out! 

It ended up being a nice cool evening, campfire felt good.. volley ball was fun… & then even though they were freezing cold (and most of them went home in clothes that were Leah’s or Zach’s) they had a huge water fight with the hose & buckets!

What a fund group of great kids!  It was a blast having them around!!

SCARY HUH!!??!!!

Shooting pieces of cereal from the puppy chow mix into the air with a paint ball gun… the only dangerous part was when they started trying to catch them in their mouths when then came down… looked a bit painful… anything to impress the girls! :)

It was so much fun to have you all over!  You are a great group of kids!!
